The Process Operator III troubleshoots process problems during production.
They also maintain production equipment and review data to ensure product quality.
We are seeking a Painter to apply high-quality finishes in accordance with MIL-SPEC paint standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with polyurethane paints and epoxy coatings in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
This role is essential in ensuring our components meet strict industry, customer, and government requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain production fixtures and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of production equipment or work area
- Document all production and production losses
- Maintain communication as related to process and equipment
- Review data to ensure product quality during production
- Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions
- Apply paint finishes to components using spray equipment, following MIL-SPEC and internal quality standards.
- Mix, prepare, and apply polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and primers.
- Inspect surfaces and finished parts for defects, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and process sheets.
- Maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and mixing areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Record materials used, and processes completed in accordance with documentation requirements.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
