Job Purpose
Operate and maintain plant equipment to meet company production objectives in a safe, cost-effective, and reliable manner.
Work in alignment with day-to-day operating plans and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with EHS policies and procedures and apply risk controls to ensure safe work activities.
- Take responsibility for personnel safety in the assigned area, recognize unsafe acts, and take corrective action.
- Operate plant equipment safely and correctly to achieve production and quality objectives.
- Assist with frontline maintenance, process sampling, testing, and troubleshooting during process upsets.
- Prepare equipment and work areas for mechanical, maintenance, and turnaround work.
- Monitor plant equipment performance and process variables, including flow, temperature, and pressure readings.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain communication with shift leadership and the head operator.
- Identify hazards and prepare equipment safely for maintenance handover.
- Implement weekly preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and participate in job safety analysis.
- Support environmental, health, safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma degree is required.
