Process Modelling Engineer

Support development of water and wastewater treatment process models Assist with calibration and validation of treatment plant models Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses for treatment systems.

Support digital twin implementation projects for municipal and industrial clients.

Analyze plant performance data and identify optimization opportunities.

Assist with process troubleshooting and operational improvement studies.

Support development of predictive analytics and decision-support tools.

Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.

Collaborate with process engineers, software developers, data scientists, and project managers.

Participate in client meetings and technical workshops.

Contribute to research and development initiatives related to digital water technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline.

Higher degrees with specialization in related fields will be preferred. 3+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment processes modelling, advanced data analytics Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Experience with water wastewater process modelling software Experience or specialization in development and application of predictive analytics and decision-support tools using machine learning tools.

Programming experience in Python, R, SQL, C# Experience working with real-time operational datasets.

Understanding of digital twins, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

Technical Skills Water and wastewater treatment process fundamentals.

Process modelling and simulation.

Data analysis and visualization.

Technical report preparation.

Base salary range: $72,000 - $105,000 At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
