- Collaborate with student leaders, developers, and stakeholders to define standards and establish process controls
- Conduct process analyses, facilitate improvement workshops, create or update process documentation, and monitor the impact of changes
- Mentor team members on process best practices and help embed a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong foundation in process engineering, including Process Design and Process Engineering
- Experience with Business Process Improvement and Process Optimization
- Knowledge of Process Control methods
- Ability to use analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with technology or software development environments is highly beneficial
- Experience with process mapping tools or methodologies is an advantage
- Pursuing or holding a degree in engineering, management, operations, or related field

Role Description
- As a Process Engineering Manager, you will oversee the design, documentation, and improvement of core processes that support SDC’s technology and career services initiatives.
- This part time, remote role involves mapping current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and consistency across projects and teams.
- You will collaborate with student leaders, developers, and stakeholders to define standards, establish process controls, and track performance metrics.
Day to Day Activities
- Conduct process analyses, facilitate improvement workshops, create or update process documentation, and monitor the impact of changes.
- Mentor team members on process best practices and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in process engineering, including Process Design and Process Engineering to define, map, and standardize workflows across teams.
- Experience with Business Process Improvement and Process Optimization to analyze performance, reduce waste, and enhance quality and throughput.
- Knowledge of Process Control methods to establish KPIs, monitor process stability, and ensure consistent execution.
- Ability to use analytical and problem solving skills to interpret data, diagnose root causes, and prioritize improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross functional, remote teams and facilitate workshops or reviews.
- Familiarity with technology or software development environments (e.g., web, app, UI/UX, AI, cybersecurity) is highly beneficial.
- Experience with process mapping tools or methodologies (e.g., flowcharts, BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in engineering, management, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
