YOUR ROLE
- Come join our growing industry team as a Process Engineer based at our Benalla site. In this role, you will bring your practical and theoretical knowledge of processes in one or more industrial technologies or fields (electronics, mechanics, chemical engineering) and delivering improvements and facilitating process maturity and performance across the teams.
- Working at our Benalla site, on Pangerang and Yorta Yorta Land, your exciting new career opportunity will see you:
- Ensure that the facility has a safety management system that results in compliance with state and federal regulations and meets good industrial practice.
- Ensure that the facility has a safety management system meets the intent of preventing or minimising accidental exposures to self, colleagues, visitors and/or the environment. Through the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the documents, systems and procedures that make up the safety management system (SMS).
- Develop and facilitate audit programs, to asses and evaluate the effectiveness of the SMS.
- Evaluation of the HSE impacts of existing, new and updated procedures and processes and ensure adequate consideration is given to HSE in the development and design and continuous improvement of these documents.
- Preparation of compliance reports for regulatory authorities as required.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Engineering degree and experience in process engineering or similar roles.
Extensive knowledge of production and repair processes.
Extensive knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes and knowledge of industrial management control.
Basic knowledge of stock management and flow management methodologies.
Chemical Engineering or Mechanical/Mechatronics background is highly desirable.
Implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, conducting Experience in implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, conducting Gemba Walks, Compass Room, Plan Do Check Act (PDCA), TPM, etc).
Knowledge of industrial management control and stock management and flow management methodologies.
Knowledge of production tools, industrial IT & use of dashboards (analysis, decision support).
