What is my day to day like?
As our Process Engineer / Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality. You will work closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams to troubleshoot issues, standardize processes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Establish, monitor, and optimize standard operating conditions to ensure product quality and maximize production rates.
Lead process improvement projects focused on reducing downtime, improving efficiency, increasing capacity, reducing scrap, and lowering operating costs.

What makes a person successful in this position?
· Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
· 3 to 5 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
· Demonstrated experience leading process improvement and cost reduction projects.
· Ability to draw in Solid Works to assist with process improvement projects.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to design and execute process trials and experiments with supporting business justifications.
· Knowledge of plastics materials and processes, including APET, CPET, and PP preferred.
· Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and manufacturing best practices.
· Strong communication, presentation, and training skills.
· Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
What will my schedule be like?
This is a full-time position scheduled for 40+ hours per week. Additional hours may be required to support production, process improvement projects, equipment trials, and operational needs. Core work hours are generally Monday through Friday, prefer to work an off-shift (2nd/3rd shift) with flexibility required to support manufacturing operations as needed.
