Lead the development and implementation of advanced electrical testing processes, with a focus on circuit testing and end-of-line testing, including isolation, insulation, Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR), and hi-pot continuity.
Design, automate, and optimize electrical testing systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and repeatability across manufacturing lines.
Define best practices and standards for electrical testing, helping to establish what our organization should be doing to ensure product quality and compliance.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate robust testing solutions into new product introduction (NPI) and high-mix/mid-volume environments.
Develop and qualify next-generation tools and processes for functional testing, ensuring seamless transition from NPI to mass production.
Implement real-time monitoring, data acquisition, and control systems to provide visibility into test results and process health.
Identify opportunities for breakthrough improvements in automation, digitalization, and lean testing methodologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with custom testing and metrology equipment, ensuring safe and effective operation.
Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
5-7+ years of hands-on experience in process engineering, electrical testing, or manufacturing system development, preferably in NPI or high-mix/mid-volume environments.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Expertise in circuit testing and end-of-line testing, including isolation, insulation, TDR, and hi-pot continuity.
Experience with advanced materials and high-volume manufacturing methods.
