About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop design criteria, basis of design reports, and process narratives for wastewater treatment facilities
- Perform process calculations including flow projections, mass balances, hydraulic profiles, organic and nutrient loading analyses, and sludge production estimates
- Design and size wastewater treatment processes such as preliminary treatment, biological treatment, secondary clarification, tertiary treatment, disinfection, sludge handling, and odor control
- Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic profiles, and process layouts
- Evaluate and optimize treatment processes to achieve regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
- Prepare process datasheets and technical specifications for treatment equipment
- Review vendor technical submissions and shop drawings
- Participate in technical bid evaluations and equipment selection
- Coordinate with package system suppliers and multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.)
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering workshops, HAZOP studies, and client meetings
- Prepare process sections of tender documents and technical specifications
- Support procurement activities through technical clarifications and bid evaluations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in process design engineering
- Experience working in engineering consultancy companies
