We are seeking Chemical and/or Process Engineers to join us as a Process Control Applications Engineer for our manufacturing site in Nanticoke, ON.
The Process Control Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership through the sustainment and implementation of both base-level controls and advanced process control (APC) applications that are integral to the safe and reliable operation of the Nanticoke refinery.

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of qualification in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent, as certified by an accredited/recognized institution
3+ years of experience in refining and/or chemicals manufacturing roles
Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency and comfort level working with computers, understanding programming concepts, and communicating these to others.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
High degree of analytical and technical ability
Ability to communicate complex technical data clearly, tailored to intended audience
Strong attention to detail with handling high quantity and quality of work
Ability to effectively influence others without direct authority
Strong interpersonal effectiveness
Process design exposure
Experience with advanced control strategies/optimization software
Experience working with TDC 2000 / TDC 3000 / Experion control systems
