- Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts
- Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds
- Manage all Pro Rata post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps, inclusive of renewals
- Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets
- Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting
Requirements
- Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience
- Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure
- Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations

- Guy Carpenter's Client Support Services department has an opportunity for a Pro Rata Technician.
- As a Pro Rata Technician, you will support our client base through transactional processing, securing reinsurance recoveries through timely and accurate system entry.
We will rely on you to:
- Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts.
- Work with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds.
- Manage all Pro Rata post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps. This is inclusive of renewals.
- Promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets.
- Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting.
What you need to have:
- Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience, ie; handling cash loss/large loss and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector.
- Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure.
- Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
