Job Overview

  • Private Male English Literature & Language Teacher for a high profile family in Riyadh.
  • Deliver a bespoke English programme to students from Primary through to KS3/GCSE level.
  • Includes some travel within Saudi Arabia.

The Role

  • Teach English Literature and Language from Primary through to GCSE level.
  • An ability to also teach Business would be welcomed but is not essential.
  • Follow a Cambridge based curriculum enhanced by project based learning.
  • Support students through a combination of daytime and after school teaching.
  • Work closely with the Curriculum Coordinator, fellow subject specialists, and the students' schools.
  • Teaching between 2 4 children.
  • Occasional travel within Saudi Arabia required.

Requirements

  • Male applicants only. In accordance with local regulations and cultural requirements, male students are taught by male teachers.
  • Bachelor's degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent).
  • Applicants must demonstrate first language or near native proficiency in English.
  • Minimum two years' Secondary/High School English teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching English Literature and Language to GCSE level strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Cambridge, British, IB, Australian, New Zealand, Canadian or US curricula.
  • Flexible, professional, adaptable, and culturally sensitive.
  • Applicants must be under 57 years of age due to visa regulations.
