Role Overview
Excellence Training Centre is seeking a part-time private tutor for one-to-one academic support for a Grade 7 student studying at Qatar Foundation.
The tutor will teach IB Science across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology while strengthening conceptual understanding, academic performance, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one Science tutoring aligned with the IB Grade 7 curriculum.
- Teach Physics, Chemistry, and Biology using clear, age-appropriate explanations.
- Prepare customized lesson plans, exercises, assignments, and revision activities.
- Use practical examples, activities, diagrams, and learning resources.
- Identify learning needs, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Support assessments, examinations, projects, and classroom activities.
- Adapt instruction to the student's learning style and maintain a supportive environment.
- Communicate with the ETC team about student progress and training requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong IB curriculum teaching or tutoring experience, particularly at Grade 7 level.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Fluency in English and Arabic and the ability to explain Science in both languages.
