- Perform maintenance and repairs across a diverse collection of vehicles and equipment

- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules
- Execute engine swaps, upgrades, and rebuilds
- Handle fuel system design and installation, including propane and alternative fuel projects
- Perform fabrication and custom component installation
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and wiring projects
- Recommend tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment purchases
- Organize shop layout and workflow
- Manage parts inventory and ordering
Requirements
- Lead automotive technician experience
- Expertise in diagnostics, engine builds, and fabrication
- Experience with alternative fuels (e.g., propane) is a plus
- Strong problem solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Highly organized and self motivated

Job Description
- Maintenance, Custom Builds, Engine Projects, Fabrication, Alternative Fuels
- Compensation: $120,000+ Base Salary, Quarterly project completion bonuses, Annual performance bonus up to 15% of salary, Target Total Compensation: $135,000–$175,000+, Annual pay raises
- Benefits: Excellent medical and dental benefits, 3 week PTO, All tools and equipment provided, Significant input into workshop design and tooling
The Opportunity
- Long term opportunity to work directly for a single owner while helping build and operate a premier private workshop.
- Not a dealership position; no retail customers, no service writers, no flat rate billing.
- Focus on quality workmanship, problem solving, organization, craftsmanship, and long term ownership.
- Initially based in Western Wisconsin; may expand to support facilities in Wisconsin and Tennessee.

Responsibilities
- Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance and repairs, diagnose issues, coordinate preventative maintenance, maintain records.
- Performance and Custom Projects: Engine swaps, fuel system design, fabrication, suspension modifications, electrical diagnostics, project planning.
- Workshop Development: Recommend tools and equipment, organize shop layout, develop tracking systems, manage inventory, build vendor relationships.
