- The Raytheon Subsystem Engineering and Photonics group is actively seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to support our group in Columbia, MD. The Subsystem Engineering and Photonics Group is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary engineering team that works to design, develop, and fabricate the next generation of RF and photonic systems. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as SME support for technical programs, managing customer relationships, and translating customer operational needs into testable requirements.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with engineering, program, and customer teams to ensure program execution.
- Evaluate technical concepts against mission requirements and customer priorities.
- Interface directly with customer teams to provide recommendations and design feedback.
- Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in integration and operation of DoD communication systems.
- Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in program management and execution
- Experience with government acquisition processes.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with C5ISR system operation.
- Experience with strategic planning and execution of technical programs.

- Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
