  • Lead discovery and requirements definition with engineering, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate build, buy, and partner options for evaluation and governance tooling.

Delivery and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with engineering and architecture leadership on feasibility, sequencing, and trade-offs through delivery.
  • Represent the capability area to risk, audit, compliance, architecture, vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with adjacent product and engineering leaders so requirements are addressed early.

Launch and People Leadership

  • Define user personas, value messaging, success metrics, and business-case inputs for launches.
  • Build, mentor, and lead product managers while fostering iterative, user-focused, data-backed decision-making.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including several years in risk, compliance, safety, or governance-oriented technology.
  • Experience delivering production AI/ML systems and integrating LLM APIs while owning quality and risk evaluation or monitoring.
  • Experience in a regulated industry with direct audit and regulatory review exposure.
  • Technical fluency in system design, APIs, observability, data pipelines, and vector database or RAG architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills and a technical university degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience leading product managers or moving into people leadership from an individual-contributor or lead-level product role.
  • Experience automating regulatory or audit requirements, defining interfaces across engineering teams, or standing up a new function.
  • Experience in AI safety, model risk management, automated AI evaluation, observability, or relevant AI risk frameworks.

Benefits and Culture

  • RBC offers a total rewards program, flexible benefits, development support, training, and opportunities to make a lasting impact.
  • The AI Group advances generative and agentic AI use cases while maintaining expertise in security, responsible AI, and regulatory expectations.
