Your Impact
The role owns system architecture and technical integration across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains for Axon 911 hardware.
As a founding leader of the hardware team, the engineer defines technical standards, architecture, and engineering processes for scalable production.
System Architecture and Design
- Develop system architectures, block diagrams, and interaction diagrams across industrial design, electrical, RF, mechanical, software, and product management.
- Analyze power, thermal, and computational budgets and lead concept studies with internal and external development teams.
Systems Requirements
- Write and vet clear, testable system requirements and maintain traceability from product requirements through verification and validation.
- Review product requirements and simulate or estimate subsystem capability against requirements.
Technical Leadership and Risk
- Lead cross-discipline design reviews, resolve competing engineering constraints, and provide technical direction to EE, RF, and ME leads.
- Own system verification and validation strategy, perform risk analysis, and communicate technical tradeoffs to leadership.
