Mission
Own the electrical architecture for strategic datacenter accounts within the zone.
Act as the electrical systems authority across utility input, UPS systems, distribution, monitoring, and rack-level power delivery.
Strengthen technical positioning and support successful deal closure as part of the account fighting unit.
Electrical System Design
- Design utility service entry, transformer sizing, and switchgear selection.
- Design UPS topologies, sizing for IT and cooling loads, battery runtime, and modular or monolithic configurations.
- Design primary and secondary distribution, PDU sizing, cable routing, and voltage drop analysis.
- Configure BMS integration, UPS and PDU interfaces, SNMP or Modbus protocols, and alarm or alerting systems.
- Design grounding, bonding, lightning protection, surge protection, and rack-level grounding strategies.
- Design AI datacenter electrical systems for GPU clusters, CDU pump loads, and high-density racks.
- Model PUE contribution, calculate efficiency losses, and optimize power factor.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC or local codes, Uptime Institute Tier requirements, and EN 50600.
