- Assists in developing new markets in local region
- Reviews/develops project proposals
- Attends local marketing events
- Supports Team on maintaining project schedule and budgets and acts as project executive to ensure clients’ expectations are being met
- Responsible to ensure QA/QC process
- Responsible for project budgets
- Assists in A/R collections
- Perform structural calculations for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structures
- Review drawings and calculations performed by junior staff
- Develop detailed construction plans and details for buildings, bridges, and other structures using AutoCAD or Revit software
- Create structural models using various structural design software
- Perform field visits during construction to observe adherence to the construction documents
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during the construction phase
- M.S. Civil Engineering from an accredited school
- PE license required
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office required
- Proficiency in Bentley RAM software suite preferred
- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of local and national design codes, including the NY Building Code, AASHTO, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, and NDS
- 10+ years of relevant structural design work
