Principal Software Engineer, Product Development

10 years of software engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility in distributed environments.

Expert-level proficiency in Python , including FastAPI , advanced AsyncIO patterns, REST API design, and performance profiling/tuning of Pythonic services.

Proven experience architecting and developing microservices and highly available distributed systems.

Strong hands-on experience working with: RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

NoSQL databases ( MongoDB , Redis )

Deep experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms for building resilient, real-time data pipelines.

Strong understanding of cloud architectures (AWS/GCP) and services such as EKS, Lambda, S3, networking, serverless, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus).

Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes , and container orchestration for managing scalable Python workloads.

Modern Engineering Workflows: Strong experience leveraging AI Agents (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and GitHub Actions for robust CI/CD automation.

Solid knowledge of software design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and system design principles.

Strong experience driving engineering excellence —test coverage (Pytest), automation, code reviews, and comprehensive technical documentation.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.
