About the Job
We are looking for a principal-level engineer to help define a long-horizon technical roadmap in industrial software and adjacent systems. This role is for someone who wants to work on problems that are structurally important, technically non-obvious, and worth years of effort if they work.
What You'll Do
Drive high-risk, high-upside technical bets with long-term platform potential
Work with other senior engineers to identify where new abstractions unlock disproportionate value
Lead architecture and prototyping in areas such as system modeling, simulation, languages, or developer tooling
Shape software that can support future manufacturing categories, strategic materials efforts, and distributed operating models
Raise the technical ambition and quality bar across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Deep experience designing and building complex software systems
