Role Overview
FactSet's Platform Infrastructure Engineering team is adding a member to its Cloud Architecture team.
The Cloud Engineer will help maximize the value FactSet receives from public cloud usage across GCP and AWS.
The role partners with strategic business units and engineering teams to promote modernization and execute cloud architecture strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise cloud program planning and implementation.
- Contribute to FactSet's cloud platform and capabilities.
- Drive adoption of cloud services with platform infrastructure teams.
- Enable cloud availability and consumption of core infrastructure services.
- Accelerate migration and digital transformation through DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated releases.
- Partner with security teams on cloud services and data security posture.
- Support high availability and disaster recovery strategies, including related processes and tooling.
- Implement cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Participate in periodic on-call rotations and occasional weekend work.
Experience and Education
- 10 or more years of hands-on public cloud experience with architecture contributions in a fast-paced, high-growth business.
