Role Overview
Cboe’s Data Vantage division is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for Silexx, LiveVol, and DataShop.
The role builds real-time web and desktop applications and scalable backend systems for financial analytics, execution, and risk-management platforms.
The engineer owns integration and end-to-end testing across products and works across the full stack.

- The role follows a four-day in-office work model in Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Own integration and end-to-end testing across Silexx, LiveVol, and DataShop workflows.
- Design and implement ReactJS front ends and C#/.NET backend services.
- Build automated integration, contract, and end-to-end tests for REST, gRPC, and real-time streaming interfaces.
- Use AI coding assistants such as Claude for test generation, code review, refactoring, and automation.
- Implement secure communications with OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0.
- Provide architectural direction, mentor engineers, and resolve cross-product technical problems.
