Role Overview
The Integrations team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to architect agentic workflows connecting application security products to developer tools.
The role focuses on production-grade AI agent systems, including multi-agent orchestration, tool use, and MCP-based integrations.
The engineer will set architecture and technical direction across IDE, CI/CD, and pull request workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own architecture for agentic workflows, MCP surfaces, and multi-agent orchestration across developer workflows.
- Identify, prototype, pitch, and build new application security integrations for agentic developer and CI workflows.
- Design and implement agents, skills, MCP tooling, and APIs with governance, permissions, and auditability.
- Own development of the Black Duck MCP Gateway and expand its capabilities for AI agents and IDEs.
