Role Overview
Design and architect infrastructure and services to ensure reliability and functionality.
Collaborate with software development teams to develop reliable and scalable infrastructure.
Apply advanced site reliability knowledge to incident response, maintenance, automation, and operational support.
Capacity Ingestion and Management
- Forecast infrastructure demand and respond to capacity needs, ensuring sufficient resources for current and future workloads.
- Collaborate with software development teams to meet reliability and scalability requirements.
- Identify prototyping opportunities and drive initiatives to test new applications and infrastructure approaches.
Incident and Service Lifecycle Management
- Perform data collection, triage, technical analysis, and redirection to maintain and optimize infrastructure reliability.
- Monitor services, maintain current knowledge of performance, and document service condition.
- Perform incident response, root cause analysis, software installation, version upgrades, security updates, and backup or recovery.
- Prepare health and performance reports and take appropriate action based on data trends.
