About the Role
Gen is seeking a hands-on product design leader to support the MoneyLion brand and shape its digital product experience.
The role combines individual design contribution with day-to-day leadership of designers in global offices.
The designer will work across MoneyLion app features and the growing MoneyLion web experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design MoneyLion app features with a closer focus on MoneyLion web.
- Oversee designers across three regions through reviews, critique, and unblocking.
- Coach junior designers to improve execution quality and consistency.
- Drive MLDS 4.0 adoption across product teams.
- Keep design and build aligned.
- Ensure designers have the resources, clarity, and context needed to deliver.
- Partner with product and engineering on scope, delivery, and quality.
About You
- Senior-level product design experience, strong craft, and a track record of shipping thoughtful work.
- Experience leading or mentoring designers, ideally across time zones.
- Deep Figma proficiency, including design systems, components, and tokens.
- Fluency with AI tools in daily practice, including Claude and others.
- Curiosity about building internal tools and adopting or introducing new skills.
- Comfort balancing individual-contributor work with team leadership.

Compensation
- The listed compensation range is $210K to $235K with an offer bonus.
