Principal Nuclear Facilities Safety Engineering Consultant

Oversee and guide the technical aspects involved in planning and producing nuclear safety documentation

Deliver nuclear safety assessments and related technical documents in line with customer requirements

Develop nuclear safety requirements and demonstrate compliance with them Support periodic safety reviews for complex systems and facilities

Work collaboratively with clients and partner organisations

Provide leadership and line management to junior team members, fostering their development and performance

A degree with honours (or equivalent) in science, engineering, or a related field, or comparable professional experience

Proven experience in preparing, facilitating, and documenting safety cases and hazard studies for nuclear facilities

Previous work within nuclear licensed or authorised sites

Experience offering guidance on nuclear and process engineering matters

Familiarity with a range of safety assessment methodologies

Professional membership of a relevant chartered institution

Understanding of Nuclear Authorising and/or Licensing Conditions
