WSP Australia’s Mine Advisory group is expanding, and we’re looking for a highly experienced Principal Mining Engineer to join our team. This is an opportunity to work with top-tier mining clients, contribute to complex projects across commodities, and play a key role in helping our clients maximise value, optimise operations, and deliver sustainable outcomes.

Mine design for open pit and/or underground mines, scheduling, optimisation, equipment selection and operating and capital cost estimates.

Overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle (proposal, contract, scope of work, technical quality and senior review) and consulting with appropriate peers.

Delivering technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions to clients which meet time, budget, quality and safety requirements.

Carry out technical work in support of due diligence reviews supporting mergers, acquisitions under the supervision of other senior and principal engineers.

Manage the preparation of tenders, proposals and reports for clients.
