Principal Financial Analyst

5-8+ years of progressive FP&A or finance business partnering experience at a high-growth technology or SaaS company, with direct experience embedded with R&D, Engineering, or Product organizations; AI company experience is a plus

Strong financial modeling skills in Excel and at least one EPM/planning platform; SQL proficiency to pull and analyze data independently from a data warehouse is a plus

Excellent communication and influencing skills: you translate complex financial data into clear executive narratives, engage credibly with engineering and product leaders, and push back constructively on decisions that fall outside approved parameters

Active and enthusiastic user of AI tools in your day-to-day workflow — for modeling, analysis, automation, or productivity — with a genuine commitment to building AI-augmented finance workflows

Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and HRIS/workforce planning tools

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA a plus

This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, USA with hybrid work flexibility and candidates must be within commuting distance from our Williamsburg office.
