A Day in the Life
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications that integrate with connected medical devices and cloud-based services.
Architect and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and native mobile capabilities for iOS and Android platforms.
Define software architecture, system requirements, and technical designs to support product and business objectives.
Conduct code reviews and implement software development best practices to ensure application quality, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support requirements gathering, project planning, system design, development, testing, release, deployment, and production support activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting regulatory, quality, and business requirements.
Apply Agile development methodologies and established software design patterns throughout the software development lifecycle.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvements to system reliability and operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical discipline and 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 6+ years of mobile application development experience with a focus on software architecture and design.
Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
Experience developing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
Experience building mobile applications that consume and integrate with REST application programming interfaces (APIs) and cloud-based services.
Experience integrating mobile applications with connected hardware or device ecosystems.
Experience developing software products within the medical device industry or another regulated industry.
Experience developing mobile applications that integrate with connected hardware devices.
