Role Overview
The Principal Engineer (Modelling) will provide leadership and technical support on water, wastewater, and urban drainage modelling projects.
The role supports accurate and efficient delivery for internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and technical support on water and wastewater projects.
- Support network modelling engineers and senior engineers.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, needs assessments, and optioneering.
- Perform model calibration and verification using existing and newly built models.
- Prepare reports and supporting drawings.
- Define work required by field investigation teams.
- Respond to customer needs and maintain client relationships.
- Guide and manage graduates, engineers, and technicians.
- Attend internal and client project meetings, including video conferences.
- Complete continuing professional development and follow applicable health and safety duties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional accreditation from ICE or CIWEM, or pursuit of accreditation.
- Good understanding of water and wastewater projects.
