Role Overview
Join Pratt & Whitney’s Controls & Diagnostic Systems organization at the India Engineering Center.
Support and own portions of aircraft engine control and prognostic software development, testing, and certification.
The software organization uses both Agile and waterfall development approaches.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety-critical aerospace software development to DO-178B/C standards.
- Plan, estimate, track, and manage software artifacts and changes.
- Decompose system and customer requirements into software requirements and designs.
- Document traceability and rationale for derived requirements and designs.
- Conduct prototype testing, requirements reviews, and design reviews.
- Develop software verification artifacts, structural coverage analysis, and gap closure.
- Create problem reports and support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare certification documents and lead software oversight activities with Pratt & Whitney.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and functional management for a small team.
- Support program, team, and customer status reviews and process improvement initiatives.
