Position Overview
The role is an offshore structures engineering position reporting to the Head of Department for Offshore Structural Engineering.
The position is based in Mumbai according to the role description.
Offshore Engineering Work
- Perform FEED, design, and detail engineering for fixed and floating offshore oil and gas production or processing facilities.
- Analyze and design topside decks, jackets, and FPSO modules.
- Carry out pre-service and in-service structural analyses using SACS.
- Perform analyses independently and prepare structural design reports and material take-offs.
Drawings and Model Review
- Check and prepare structural drawings and weight control reports.
- Review 3D models using Navisworks or SmartPlant Review.
Required Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in FEED, design, and detail engineering for fixed or floating offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Experience with structural analysis and design of topside decks, jackets, and/or FPSO modules.
- Experience using SACS for pre-service and in-service analysis.
