WSP is seeking a Principal Engineer to join its India GCC team.
The role focuses on wet utility design, hydrology, hydraulics, and flood assessment projects.
The position includes coordination and guidance of junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate wet utility design projects involving sanitary, stormwater, and water systems.
- Undertake hydrology, hydraulic, and flood assessment work.
- Coordinate associated shallow dry and wet utilities.
- Review project work against professional and technical standards.
- Ensure work meets project requirements.
Preferred software skills
- WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and iTwin experience is desirable.
- Civil 3D, 12D, or similar civil design software experience is desirable.
- HEC-RAS, HY-8, DHI MIKE, or similar hydraulic modelling software experience is desirable.
- API programming skills, especially using RubyScript, are desirable.

Requirements
- Experience or capability in wet utility design covering hydrology, hydraulics, sanitary systems, stormwater systems, and water systems.
- Ability to undertake project reviews against professional and technical standards and project requirements.
- Proficiency with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, iTwin, Civil 3D, 12D, HEC-RAS, HY-8, or DHI MIKE is desirable.
- API programming skills, especially using RubyScript, are desirable.
