We are seeking Principal Electrical Design Engineer- (Water/Wastewater/Desalination) in India.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Water & Wastewater Treatment projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.
• Responsible for Providing technical input into project design deliverables for Electrical aspects of complex multi‑disciplinary projects and work with the project management team to successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programs.
• Prepares a variety of increasingly complex engineering deliverables. Performs research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. Prepares increasingly complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. Acquainted with the Electrical design softwares used in the industry for electrical calculations and sizing.
• Responsible for leading and producing technical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams, Load Schedules, MCC specifications, Control Philosophies, Control Network Architecture.
• Work independently with minimal technical guidance. Exercise personal judgement to solve difficult problems where appropriate and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Provide technical support for bid proposals.
• Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design including check and review of own work as well as others.
• Work in and lead teams to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high‑quality levels. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
