You will work within one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancies, helping to shape how complex civil engineering projects are conceived, designed, and delivered through digital innovation. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and technology, combining a deep understanding of infrastructure and civil engineering with strong digital and programming capabilities. You will help design and deploy Digital Project Solutions that improve productivity, data quality, and collaboration across large-scale infrastructure programmes.

- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions that enhance engineering design, coordination, and delivery across major infrastructure projects.
- Use Microsoft Azure, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), and Python to create data-driven tools and workflows that integrate with engineering processes and systems.
- Support automation of repetitive tasks and the creation of digital twins, dashboards, and model-based workflows aligned to project requirements and ISO 19650 principles.
- Collaborate with engineers, data specialists, and project teams to translate engineering challenges into technical solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and document reusable scripts, templates, and tools to improve digital project delivery efficiency.
- Participate in shaping and executing the company’s digital engineering strategy, sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
- Support integration of CDEs, GIS, IoT, and other digital technologies into infrastructure project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and standardisation initiatives across global digital teams.

- You are a creative problem solver who bridges the gap between traditional civil engineering and modern digital technology. You enjoy building tools, automating workflows, and using data to improve engineering outcomes.
- Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with additional learning in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure or civil engineering design workflows.
- Practical experience with Python (e.g. for data analysis, automation, or API integration).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and/or Power Platform tools.
- Familiarity with BIM environments and common data environments (e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley ProjectWise).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in engineering.
- Desirable:
- Experience with APIs, data visualisation, or database integration.
- Knowledge of digital twin concepts, model-based design, or systems engineering.
- Understanding of data governance, information management, and ISO 19650 principles.
- Experience developing or deploying solutions in enterprise environments.
