Workplace

• The position is classified as hybrid, with regular work both onsite and offsite.
• The ratio of onsite work will be determined in partnership with the employee’s leader.

Key responsibilities

• Identify strategic data science and analytics opportunities that enhance operations and support the long-term DMRO roadmap.
• Develop advanced analytics solutions using DMRO data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
• Oversee Power BI dashboard creation for the MRO network.
• Lead the definition, prototyping, testing, deployment, and monitoring of complex machine learning and statistical models.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives and manage multiple high-priority projects.
• Use agile and Scrum practices to guide team dynamics and project execution.
• Mentor senior engineers and other team members through technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
• Own complex technical challenges and serve as the escalation point for critical issues.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 or more years of experience, or advanced degree with 8 or more years of experience, in data science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics.
• At least 6 years of experience building machine learning or statistical models.
• At least 3 years of experience using SQL or Databricks.
• At least 3 years of experience developing solution architecture.
• Proficiency in machine learning tools and programming languages such as Python.
• Strong communication, teamwork, judgment, professional maturity, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with sprint, Scrum, and PI ceremonies.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace domain.
• Experience with Databricks and Power BI dashboard development.
• Familiarity with agile practices and the Scrum Master role.
• Ability to connect technical expertise with business needs.
