Job Summary
Baxter's Front Line Care business develops products for airway clearance, cardiology, patient monitoring, and management of respiratory and cardiac diseases.
The Principal Engineer provides technical direction for product development, sustaining engineering, systems engineering, and human factors engineering.
The position is based in Bangalore and reports to the Manager, Systems Front-Line Care.
Systems Engineering
- Lead end-to-end product development and sustenance from user and marketing needs through final product release.
- Develop and document systems architecture and systems-level design, including subsystem decomposition and interface specifications.
- Translate functional, performance, manufacturing, and service requirements into product design.
- Plan and execute systems integration, resolve technical issues, and support verification and validation activities.
- Maintain traceability from requirements to design entities and verification activities.
Human Factors and Usability
- Plan, coordinate, perform, analyze, visualize, and document studies covering user needs, user profiles, use environments, usability, and handling design.
