Role Overview
Support development of connected drug-device combination products and medical technologies within the R&D Combination Product Development team.
Lead and support electrical engineering activities for connected and intelligent devices using wireless and digital technologies.
Contribute to product development while meeting applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Design and Development
- Lead electrical and electronic design for drug-delivery systems, connected devices, and electromechanical medical products.
- Translate user needs into requirements, evaluate concepts and technologies, and define system architectures.
- Evaluate sensing, power, embedded electronics, communications, and subsystem integration.
- Perform circuit design, PCB review, component selection, design-margin analysis, and test-strategy development.
- Support Bluetooth, NFC, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, and related wireless connected-device architectures.
- Develop manufacturable and scalable designs from concept through clinical development and commercial launch.
Analysis and Validation
- Support system integration, reliability assessments, verification testing, and design validation.
