Role Overview
Join Renesas’s Power Management IC team supporting automotive products.
Design complex chips with analog and digital control circuitry across the full chip-design lifecycle.
Serve as a key contributor to the digital DFT design team and support automotive test requirements.
Responsibilities
- Insert DFT and scan structures, run ATPG, and validate patterns on pre- and post-layout gate-level netlists.
- Deliver and validate test patterns with test engineering teams, including silicon validation.
- Insert LogicBIST, improve scan coverage, and modify RTL for scan.
- Reduce ATE tester time while achieving required scan coverage.
- Participate in micro-architecture, RTL, synthesis, timing, LINT, CDC, and related digital design activities.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, place-and-route, test, and silicon validation teams.
- Create scan testbenches, run gate-level simulations, and debug ATE scan-pattern failures.
- Write design documents and DFT specifications and lead design reviews and checklist completion.
Workplace
- Working on-site three days per week is required.
