Responsibilities
- The Principal Data Analytics Engineer will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for analytical tool development to enable enterprise data visualization efforts. Duties include:
- Leveraging the MDA instantiation of Palantir's "Foundry" software to develop sophisticated analytical tools and interactive dashboards, converting complex datasets into clear, actionable executive‑level visual products
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable scheduling and analytical tools enabling continuous tracking and optimization
- Providing periodic database management support and assisting with SharePoint site administration
- Operating independently—translating abstract, high‑level objectives into complete, functioning tools without step‑by‑step guidance
Basic Qualifications
- US Citizenship • Master’s degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of engineering experience – Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 20+ years of experience may be considered • Ability to develop analytical and visualization tools • Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision • Active security clearance at the required level (e.g., TS/SCI) or ability to obtain this clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting database administration • Experience with SharePoint site management • Experience with Palantir’s AI-based software development environments • Strong ability to synthesize technical data into executive‑level products • Familiarity with missile defense or other complex DoD program environments
