Principal BMS Engineer

Our team includes specialist engineers in ICT, Communications, Audiovisual, Cyber Security, BMS and Building Automation. We are seeking a BMS Principal Engineer to join our newly formed BMS Specialist Department. The role will involve providing expert advice, design support and technical consultancy across building management systems and associated control technologies.

You will engage with clients to understand their requirements, prepare reports, specifications, design notes and commissioning documentation, and communicate technical concepts through clear diagrams, flow charts and system topologies.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of BMS functionality, major BMS manufacturers, control systems, communication protocols and the integration of BMS with wider ICT and building systems. You will also support the evaluation and optimisation of BMS installations to improve energy efficiency, reliability and overall system performance.

A working knowledge of Revit, CAD and Microsoft Office 365 is required. An understanding of ICT, IoT, cybersecurity and audiovisual systems would also be advantageous.

You will be an experienced BMS professional with a strong understanding of BMS design, implementation and integration, as well as relevant regulations and industry best practice.
