Role Overview
Serve as a senior individual contributor combining hands-on ATE test expertise with strategic influence across product development and production.
Define test methodologies, guide complex technical decisions, and act as a technical reference for engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end test strategy for new products and define scalable, quality-focused, cost-efficient approaches.
- Drive test methodologies, test plans, DFT approaches, and ATE hardware design.
- Mentor test engineers and support capability growth across the team.
- Ensure production release readiness, high test coverage, optimized test time, and manufacturability.
- Lead root cause analysis and yield improvement using statistical and data-driven methods.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams worldwide.
- Lead customer interactions, escalations, quality investigations, and test roadmap planning.
- Support cost reduction through test optimization and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- Typically 12 or more years of test engineering experience in analog, mixed-signal, or power management ICs.
- Extensive ATE test development expertise with COHU DMDX, DXV, or Accotest.
