Role overview
Mott MacDonald is hiring a Principal or Associate Process Engineer for its Water Utilities Division.
The role supports Thames Water wastewater and sludge treatment programmes across the full project lifecycle.
Locations and working model
- The role may be based in Cardiff, London, Cambridge, Croydon or Reading, UK.
- The position follows a hybrid working policy and requires regular engagement from Thames Water offices in Reading.
- Regular travel is required to support client engagement and programme delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering input across feasibility, concept, outline and detailed design stages.
- Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
- Analyse operational data and undertake process modelling to improve plant performance.
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, business cases, proposals and presentations.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables for technical quality and compliance.
- Advise Thames Water stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor junior engineers and support resource, technical development and business development activities.
