Principal / Associate HVDC Cable Design Engineer

You will form part of a team that is a trusted partner for some of the UK's key clients, delivering detailed and complex turnkey designs

You will work on flagship, high-profile projects - some of the most exciting in the UK with the ability to see your projects come to life through the full design lifecycle

You will be joining a diverse, established team with a varied background of skills and expertise, who value new ideas and welcome innovative solutions. You are encouraged to take ownership and have freedom in decision-making

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will have links into the wider network of engineers within the business to learn and grow

Minimum BEng/Bsc in Electrical or Power Engineering, ideally MEng/MSc in Electrical / Power Engineering.

Be or working toward CEng status, however not essential.

This role would suit an individual from an OEM background or with previous HVDC consultancy experience

Many of the positions within our company are subject to security clearance or security assurance levels.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance or assurance level for this role, in line with client and sector requirements.

In some cases, additional nationality or residency criteria may also apply due to specific client or national security obligations.
