Principal Advisor, Protective Security

As a Principal Advisor, Protective Security, you will establish and integrate processes for managing security and safety risk statewide. You will provide expert, strategic advice and support Executive and senior management on a range of complex protective security and safety issues. Additionally, you will manage stakeholder relationships with HHSs, industry Regulators, insurers, unions, government agencies and community groups.Role fitThe essential requirements for this role are:Demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary protective security and enterprise security risk management, including national and state policies, legislation, standards and trends, and the proven ability to apply that knowledge to develop and implement effective systems, policies and programs within a large public sector organisation.A record of achievement in developing, implementing, evaluating and continually improving strategic organisation-wide security and safety management systems and strategies within complex environments.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the proven ability to analyse performance data and provide strategic advice and reports to drive systems improvement.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships and effectively liaise and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to facilitate their cooperation and support to achieve desired outcomes.Why work with us?
