Role Overview
Provide private home tutoring for primary students.
Teach phonics, English, and mathematics to young learners.
Create engaging lessons tailored to each student’s learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one tutoring sessions in person.
- Assess students’ academic levels and develop personalized learning plans.
- Use engaging and interactive teaching methods to improve understanding and performance.
- Support literacy, numeracy, reading comprehension, spelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and management.
- Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, and assessments.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment.
- Maintain professional communication with parents regarding progress and goals.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience teaching or tutoring primary-aged students.
- Strong knowledge of phonics instruction and early literacy development.
- Familiarity with the British Curriculum is preferred; other international curricula are advantageous.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents.
