Job Vacancy: KS2 Homeroom And Maths Teacher
Richmond International School is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Key Stage 2 Homeroom / Maths Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching an Upper KS2 class, with a particular focus on delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England.
The teacher should be confident in supporting students’ academic progress, maintaining high expectations, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maths/Education or a relevant subject area
- Previous teaching experience in Key Stage 2, preferably Upper KS2
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Experience with the National Curriculum for England is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to student progress, wellbeing, and safeguarding
Key Responsibilities
- Teach a lower Key Stage 2 homeroom class
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations
- Monitor, track, and report on student progress
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, subject leaders, and school leadership
- Communicate effectively with parents and support strong home-school partnerships
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safeguarding expectations
