The Opportunity
Serve as engineering authority for low- to medium-complexity substation projects and tenders.
Execute complete engineering assignments cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage engineering through commissioning support for at least five AIS and GIS substation projects rated 66 kV and above.
- Lead substation interface engineering with MEP and civil functions and resolve complex issues.
- Lead vendor negotiations, customer and consultant coordination, and technical decision-making.
- Lead tender engineering, including risk review, cost impact analysis, proposal optimization, layouts, SLDs, and BOMs or BOQs.
- Lead project engineering through quality implementation, planning, risk identification, coordination, and delegation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, guidelines, safety requirements, and engineering standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, tendering, project management, SCM, design, consultant, and customer teams.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- 11–15+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with AIS and GIS substation projects rated 66 kV and above.
- Hands-on experience in at least one STATCOM, SVC, mobile substation, or prefabricated substation power quality project.
