The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Pricing Strategy Manager to lead the development and execution of enterprise pricing strategies that drive revenue growth, market positioning, and long term profitability.
  • The ideal candidate will analyze market dynamics, customer behavior, competitive landscapes, and financial performance to design pricing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement enterprise pricing strategies, pricing governance frameworks, and commercial policies aligned with organizational objectives, market conditions, and long term growth plans.
  • Lead strategic pricing initiatives across products, services, customer segments, geographic markets, and distribution channels to maximize revenue, profitability, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, willingness to pay analysis, elasticity modeling, and pricing benchmarking to support strategic pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, product management, operations, customer success, procurement, legal, and executive leadership to align pricing strategies with commercial and business objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including pricing realization, revenue growth, gross margin, contribution margin, price variance, discount effectiveness, customer profitability, market share, and pricing compliance.
  • Develop pricing models, scenario analyses, profitability forecasts, value based pricing frameworks, promotional pricing strategies, and commercial optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate pricing opportunities for new product launches, market expansion, customer acquisition, contract renewals, subscription models, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
  • Establish pricing governance processes, approval workflows, discount controls, pricing policies, and performance monitoring mechanisms to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze financial performance, sales trends, customer purchasing behavior, competitive pricing movements, and macroeconomic factors to identify pricing risks and growth opportunities.
  • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, pricing optimization software, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, SQL, business intelligence platforms, and advanced analytics tools to develop strategic insights and pricing recommendations.
  • Prepare pricing strategy reports, executive dashboards, financial analyses, business cases, market assessments, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop pricing analysts, commercial analysts, business intelligence specialists, and cross functional teams while fostering a culture of analytical excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications in Business Analytics, Finance, Pricing Strategy, Revenue Management, Economics, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, commercial finance, revenue management, business analytics, strategic planning, or related commercial roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing pricing strategies, commercial initiatives, or pricing analytics teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, value based pricing, financial modeling, market research, customer segmentation, revenue optimization, profitability analysis, and commercial planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, pricing optimization software, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Power BI, SQL, business intelligence platforms, and advanced analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) driven pricing, machine learning models, dynamic pricing, subscription pricing, digital commerce platforms, and predictive analytics is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, quantitative, financial, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, presentation, and cross functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to develop enterprise pricing strategies that balance customer value, market competitiveness, revenue growth, profitability, and long term business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently in remote and hybrid environments.
