STS Aerospace is seeking a Pressure Test Operator in Laconia, New Hampshire.
The position tests manufactured pieces using customer-specified PSI and time limits to ensure quality standards.
The role requires satisfactory performance of essential duties, with reasonable accommodation when necessary.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components, and finished products.
- Inspect and test parts and assemblies for conformance to blueprints, customer instructions, and company operating requirements.
- Determine appropriate fittings for each pressure test.
- Lift, position, connect, disconnect, and remove workpieces from the pressure test tank.
- Perform pressure tests using specified PSI and time limits.
- Use tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms.
- Observe tests and inspect for bubbles, seepage, or water droplets.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance and perform other assigned duties.
Education and qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
